Records documenting claims of payment for either service in or supplies provided to the military during the U.S.-Dakota War of 1862. Included are affidavits and warrants, abstracts of additional claims, quartermaster and commissary records, claims by the State of Minnesota against the federal government for reimbursement of military expenses, and Board of Auditors for the Adjustment of Claims for War Expenditures expenses.
